Old Waldensian church near Torre Pellice (Valle d’Aosta region) Italy. The Waldensians were the first protestant church (3 centuries before Martin Luther’s movement in Germany). After roughly 700 years of persecution, hiding and massacres they finally gained religious freedom in 1848!
